Fees & Fundraising

The yearly Troop dues are $125 for Boy Scouts. This amount covers all registration fees, Boys Life Magazine, campout fees, food for campouts, awards, BSA insurance, recharter fees, rank advancement, and merit badges the scout may earn. This is an annual charge and is due on or before October 1 of each calendar year.

The yearly Troop dues are $36 for Eagle Scouts under 18 years of age.

Scouts can earn funds toward Troop dues and summer camps by participating in the annual Troop fundraiser, which is selling Christmas greenery in October and November of each year. The Scout account can be used for any dues, fees, or summer camps associated with scouting. Any monies left in the account after the scout has left the Troop will revert to the Troop general fund.

The adult leaders, committee members, and assistant Scoutmasters' yearly dues are $24 per year. Registered adult leaders also receive a copy of Scouting, the national BSA adult leader magazine, and Scouter magazine, published by SHAC.

For families that may have financial difficulties, there is a scholarship program available to those Scouts in need. The scholarship program will cover yearly dues and summer camp costs.
