Philmont

Philmont Scout Ranch is the Boy Scouts of America's largest national High Adventure Base, covering 137,000 acres (about 214 square miles), of rugged mountain wilderness in the Sangre de Cristo (Blood of Christ) range of the Rocky Mountains in northern New Mexico.

The ranch operates 34 staffed camps and 55 trail camps. It has high mountains with rough terrain and elevations that range from 6,500 to 12,441 feet.

Philmont is one of the most wonderful campout trips you can experience as a scout. There is a vast amount of trails and itineraries to chose from, to match any troop and skill level.

Scouts and Dads alike will love the stunning landscapes, diverse climates, wildlife, and fun activities. It is truly the experience of a lifetime.
