Our next three events will be associated with Scouting for Food.
This is a huge and worthwhile effort for those in need in our area. Historically our troop has collected more food than any other troop in the Houston area. Please help with effort!!!!
Bag Distribution - Saturday, Jan 27th, 8:00 AM - Noon, WWV-113
We will distribute bags from 8:00 AM until we finish which normally takes 2 to 3 hours. The more scouts and parent drivers we have, the quicker this will go.
Bag Pickup - Saturday, Feb 3rd, 8:00 AM - Noon, WWV-113
We will pick up bags, hopefully full of food beginning at 8:00 AM.
After collecting the food, we will deliver all the items to the Christian Community Service Center just inside the 610 Loop.
This is a great opportunity for our scouts to participate in a very worthwhile volunteer effort.
