Marsh Mania Conservation Project

This Saturday (May 12th) is our Marsh Mania activity

A conservation project where we plant sea grass in Galveston Bay. An excuse to play in the mud!

We will leave at 7am from Woodway. It is free, but we need you to register by Wednesday Night so we can organize the logistics.

We will drive nearly 1 hour to park at the John M Quinn Nature reserve in Hitchcock, and then get shuttled to the site. There is limited parking so they are begging us to car pool.

The planting will be finished by 1pm, so we'll be back by 2pm. Lunch and t-shirt included for the first 10 that sign up! We have 5 signed up so far.

YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES AND BRING A REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE.

All attendees will need a signed waiver

A conservation project like this is required for the Camping Merit Badge, and for Star scouts as a rank requirement for Life.
